Japan is chosen as a sustainable destination for tourism

For years, the Japan National Tourism Office (JNTO) has been working continuously in order to promote Japan as an ideal tourist destination for travelers around the world. The reopening of the Japanese country towards international tourism has allowed people from other places to appreciate the different attractions that Japan presents.

In this way, JNTO seeks to spread tourism in Japan this year based on its variety of natural ecosystems, its culture, gastronomy and, above all, its sustainability to improve tourism in the country. In this sense, the country of the Rising Sun managed to position itself among the main sustainable destinations for tourists.

In addition, the Green Destinations organization has praised 10 destinations in Japan for being an example of sustainable and healthy actions for the environment. Among the destinations, Oguni stands out, since it has taken control of responsible tourism through making advance reservations to avoid the congestion of tourists around the Nabegataki Falls. In the same way, the city of Nasushiobara decreed an order so that activities around one of the most visited destinations such as Kinomata Park can be regularized.

We find ourselves in the same situation when we talk about Kamaishi, a town where a new fishing boat cruise has been built with the aim of allowing travelers to explore and get to know the Bay of the city. Finally, we cannot forget Minamichita, a place where activities were proposed to reduce waste and food to improve the environment of all foreign citizens.
